Aurora
Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian Singer and Songwriter. Her birthplace was in Stavanger on the 15th of June 1996 and professionally known as Aurora. Her name can also be stylized in the form of AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released through the label Decca Records in May 2015 and received a lot of praise from bloggers as well as the media. Half the World Away - by Oasis - for John Lewis' Christmas ad and Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole - are already two of the most notable covers the artist has done. Katy Perry, who endorsed the song Runaway from her side, has given the song a boost of recognition. Make it a special day. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music was discovering a grand piano that was in the attic. She was fascinated by its capabilities. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged Aurora to study music, not as an income or as a pastime however, as a chance to grow. The Aksnes family encouraged her to compose. She cites renowned songwriters Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan for inspiration, as well as a love for Bjork's style. Her mom encouraged her to play her music in front of the public, but not in order to gain fame but rather to let others know the importance of their work and the good they do for the world. She began playing the piano as her primary instrument, at six. She began writing music when she turned nine. It was unknown to her family members until she was fourteen. Aurora wasn't a childhood dream. Her only passion is to compose music. For her, music is the best way to feel anything.
